Buttered Praline Coffee

Serves: 1

Brew a 5-ounce cup of Melitta Classic Decaffeinated coffee.

Combine the coffee, cream, brown sugar and the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Simmer until the sugar is dissolved, stirring often.

Add the praline syrup, stir to blend, and serve warm.

Ingredients:

The word "praline" is used to describe sugar-coated, caramelized nuts.
That enticing taste of browned sugar and butter flavors the syrup used here.

Classically, this is a mixture of 3.5 ounces of foamed milk and 3.5 ounces of Café Crème (extra strength coffee)

Milky coffees in Italy and France have a higher proportion of milk: for Caffè Latte or Café au lait, Café Crème is mixed in a 1:2 ratio with warm or foamed milk poured over.

Both are best served in large ceramic cups.

Café Mafioso

Serves: 2

Brew Melitta coffee.
Fill the coffee in one, respectively two glasses and resolve the brown sugar in it. 
Heat the Amaretto and add it to the coffee. Stir everything well. Top with whipped cream and

Grasshopper Latte

Serves: 1

In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk until it just begins to steam.

Add the crème de menthe and the chocolate syrup to the warm milk and stir to combine.
Pour the warm milk into a large 12-ounce mug.

Brew a 5-ounce cup of Melitta Colombian Supreme coffee.

Stir and garnish with a swirl of chocolate syrup.

Hot Caribbean

Put rum and the Curacao Triple Sec in a decorative glass. Brew Melitta coffee and add it to the rum and Curacao. Top with whipped cream and garnish with grated orange peel.

Irish Coffee

Temper a glass mug with hot water, then empty.

Pour hot Melitta dark roast coffee into mug. Add brown sugar and stir until sugar dissolves.  

Mix in Irish whiskey. Top with whipped cream.

Italian Hazelnut Caffè

Serves: 1

In a small, deep bowl, beat the egg white with an electric mixer at high speed until soft peaks form.
Gently add the vanilla and continue to beat until stiff peaks are formed.

Spoon the egg white into an 8-ounce mug. Add 5-ounce cup of Melitta Hazelnut Creme coffee.

Use the Melitta® frother to whip the cream. Spoon a dollop of cream on top of the hot coffee.

Ingredients:

Don't skimp when it comes to pure vanilla extract. There are many "imitation vanilla" flavors, but pure vanilla extract offers intensity that can't be matched.

Norman Coffee

Put honey and vanilla syrup in either one big or two small glasses. Pour in Calvados.

Southern Belle

Serves: 1


Mix Southern Comfort, Apricot brandy and fluid cream in the shaker or stir with an egg whisk.
Brew Melitta Coffee. Add coffee (not too hot) to the other ingredients.
Pour everything in a high glass and garnish with a fresh slice of apricot.
